CCS Statement of Faith:

•We believe “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit. (Genesis

1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30)

• We believe in the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles,

in His atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to

the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 10:33), (Isaiah 7:14,

Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35), (Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:26), ( John 2:11), (I Corinthians 15:3-4, Ephesians

1:7, Hebrews 2:9), (John 11:25, I Corinthians 15:4), (Mark 16:19), (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11)

• We believe that “he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his

own mercy by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.” (Titus 3:5). “For by grace you

have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” (Eph 2:8)

• We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female, and that these

two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Genesis 1:26-27,

Mark 10:6)

• We believe in God’s design for marriage as being between one man and one woman. (Genesis 1:26-27,

Genesis 2:18-25, Romans 1:21-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10;18, 1 Corinthians 7:2-5, Hebrews 13:4, Matthew

15:18-20)

• We believe in the sanctity of human life. (Psalms 139:14-16)
